A free timed social paddle on Exeter's historic Shipping Canal. The course starts within the Quay Basin and heads towards the Double Locks pub where you will loop around and start your return journey back to the basin.

Why not donate to help your local community?
Your donations keep AquaPaddle afloat and safe. Contributions directly fund essential equipment, such as defibrillators, their renewable pads, first aid kits that go out of date and walkie-talkies. Additionally, the safety software that is used to manage every event. While our team is almost entirely voluntary, we prioritise professional IT services to ensure your data and our site remain secure.
Once these core operational costs are covered, all surplus funds go toward our mental and physical health activities.

The watersports showroom in Exeter
At AS Watersports we've been supplying paddling and watersports kit since 1982 - kayaks, canoes, paddleboards and all the equipment and safety gear. We've been based in Exeter for most of that time, and we're proud to have started many people on the water over the years.
We wanted to support AquaPaddle because getting together on the water is the best part of the sport, and it encourages good safety habits without putting people off. That fits well with how we like to work in the shop, helping people find the right kit for what they're doing and building up from there.
AquaPaddle is happening right on our doorstep, bringing together clubs, regular paddlers and complete beginners, and we're excited to be part of it.
