Come & join us on New Years Day 2026 at the First AquaPaddle 5km event in Leeds, West Yorkshire on the majestic Waterloo Lake in Roundhay Park.(LS8 2JL) Based at the home of White Rose Canoe Club. an Anti-clockwise route of 3 laps of the lake. (5km). Keeping around 5 mtrs from the edge - excluding when paddling down the tree line. Fancy Dress Optional , lets make it a day to remember , we normally run this as a Paddle Community event where the local News also turns up . Happy Safe Paddles. Craft Hire on the day £10 (cash) Canoes, Kayaks, General SUP. Donations - Hot Choc , Tea etc at the end from the Club Stone Boat House, Please bring your own Cup if you can to save on resources. & please don't forget to make a Donation to AquaPaddle if you can to help support this great cause & their Blue Spaces campaign. Your donations keep AquaPaddle afloat and safe. Contributions directly fund essential equipment, such as defibrillators, their renewable pads, first aid kits that go out of date and walkie-talkies. Additionally, the safety software that is used to manage every event. While our team is almost entirely voluntary, we prioritise professional IT services to ensure your data and our site remain secure.
Once these core operational costs are covered, all surplus funds go toward our mental and physical health activities.
