A great location for a paddle with the start and finish under the shadow of the iconic 'City Ground, home of Nottingham Forest Football Club. Nice wide river with sweeping bends. Great viewing possibilities for spectators and easy to follow by bike or on foot. Please be warned though: As we get into the Autumn/winter months, the River Trent will start to flow a little quicker (sometimes much quicker) than in the summer months. Slower, more inexperienced paddlers may have difficulties paddling upstream against the flow. There will always be rescue support on the water, following the group. Keep checking in on this page to update on the conditions closer to the date.
