Halloween Hangover at Nottingham - 1st November 2026

Why not park-up your broom and dust off your SUP or kayak for a post-Halloween event that will cast a spell on you? Witch-ever craft you choose you can creep it real at our bone-a-fide Halloween Hangover event on the spooktacular River Trent, which hopefully will be dead calm. So, if you are a ghoul who just wants to have fun why not come dressed accordingly? (Come on, the kids won't know you've pinched their outfits!) Nottingham is a great location for a paddle with the start and finish under the shadow of the iconic 'City Ground, home of Nottingham Forest Football Club. Nice wide river with sweeping bends. Great viewing possibilities for spectators and easy to follow by bike or on foot. As always, there will be rescue support on the water, following the group. So come and join us in (hopefully) nice warm conditions Keep checking in on this page to update on the conditions closer to the date. Park sensibly, without blocking boathouses or entrances. Many of our early-morning paddlers will not yet have finished their time on the water by 10am so please allow for some congestion on the road and bank-top areas.
