AquaPaddle Burton - Foremark

We're back again for more! Burton Sailing Club are having an Open Day, so we thought we’d combine it with an AquaPaddle. Sadly, it’s still a SUP only event. Once the AquaPaddle is over, the Sailing Club are offering taster sessions for SUP, Windsurfing and Sailing. If you want to book onto a session, head over to their website at Www.burtonsailingclub.co.uk We're heading back to Foremark Reservoir between Burton and Derby at the fabulous Burton Sailing Club. At this time, this is a SUP only event. We have kindly been allowed to access the water before the Sailing Club's racing on Sundays, so it's a bit of an early start to ensure we're off the water before around 10:30am. The course is likely to be several laps around a shelter bay, depending on the weather conditions. Timings for the event are: 8:30am Crew briefing 8:45am Paddler briefing 9:00am Paddle Start 10:30am clear the water There is an excellent Clubhouse with toilets and changing facilities, as well as a galley which we hope will be selling post paddle breakfast goodies, and don’t forget that you can also book on to try windsurfing and sailing, as well as getting your SUP out.
