This 5K challenge is a winding upstream paddle out of Bath on the River Avon and towards Bathampton where we turn to then return the same way. The course is mainly tree-lined and relatively sheltered from the wind. There is limited parking at Bath Canoe Club so we encourage you to drop off your craft and park nearby at Morrisons where it is free for 3 hours. As Bath CC we have changing rooms and showers available and there will be coffee and craooissants avaialble afterwards in the clubhouse. In case of high river level or high flow rate the venue will be moved to Bathampton but all those signed up will be notified of the change.
