FlowForce and Oscar Propulsion

Changing the Way We Paddle:
At the start of 2025, we took a bold step, we launched our own paddle brand and began manufacturing FlowForce paddles. Our goal? To create a super-lightweight paddle that maximises power transfer and reduces fatigue, using our patented Cut Blade FlowForce technology.
This technology didn’t start in paddling—it began in our marine division, where we developed “PressurePores” to reduce cavitation in propellers. The same principles of pressure balancing and flow dynamics inspired FlowForce: a unique paddle blade with engineered slits that improve efficiency, reduce physical strain, and make each stroke smoother and more controlled.
Highlights from 2025 (So Far!)
March: We presented FlowForce at the BSUPA Instructor Conference, introducing the tech to instructors from across the UK. On-water demos allowed participants to feel the benefits for themselves.
April 5: Official FlowForce product launch at Active360 in Kew, London. Members tested paddles on the Thames, and feedback was 100% positive—even the club dog had a great day!

April 12: At SUP12 in Paignton, we brought 12 demo paddles—by lap 4 they were all out on the water! Emily King used a FlowForce paddle to complete 21 laps (73.5km) in 12:25:50, finishing 2nd overall female and 6th overall out of 82 participants. Incredible!

Easter Weekend: SUP paddlers were allowed to compete in the Devizes to Westminster International Canoe Race for the first time. Emily King again impressed with a target-setting time of 28:11:22 in the Senior Single SUP class.
Late April: FlowForce paddles featured in the Race to the Castle ultra-distance event and at AquaPaddle Sawbridgeworth, where paddler Sue liked hers so much, she bought it on the spot.

Early May: We joined AquaPaddle Hampton Molesey, where four paddlers tried FlowForce and posted excellent times. Later, at Norfolk SUP Racing’s Paddle Skedaddle, many paddlers used FlowForce paddles for the 26.5km and 53km courses—with Michaela taking the win in her class.
Mid-May: We paddled with DorsetSUP for a magical sunset/full moon rise paddle and joined AquaPaddle + GBSUP at Llandegfedd, where FlowForce paddles were in full action.

June 15: Back at AquaPaddle Hampton Molesey in the sunshine. AquaPaddle’s own Dave Hillier tested our new FlowForce Kayak Paddle and is already lining up his order. More SUP paddlers also enjoyed smooth, efficient FlowForce strokes on the day.
